Trying new grounds. Here, a monotype print from a rigid plexiglass sheet in intaglio ink on claybord. A fair amount of detail was lost from the hand print made without a press. The ink doesn’t absorb evenly into the surface, unlike India ink which has a superior response to this surface. This monotype print is intended as a base print to test different media overlay techniques.
